I drove into Calgary highly anticipating my meeting/engagement session with Alex & Alyssa because we had rescheduled so many times due to weather & other happenings. The day had finally come & I was SO excited! We hit it off & ended up walking & talking around Princes Island Park for almost 2 hours! This couple are so incredibly sweet & caring & I enjoyed their company probably more than they know.

Alex & Alyssa met at work when she had just started a new job. All the employees filled out a newsletter answering questions & informing their fellow coworkers a little bit about themselves & Alex read that Alyssa’s favourite movie was Dumb & Dumber… so he immediately needed to meet his woman! They quickly became friends over many common interests & the rest is history 😉

Alex proposed on a random Wednesday night, to make sure it was a surprise & it was the sweetest thing ever! Alyssa came home to a dead silent apartment & thought nobody was home. Her confusion suddenly became anger as she saw this giant mess Alex had left her on the floor of all these papers. As she got closer, she realized it was their entire life together: concert tickets, travel documents, pictures, tiny keepsakes from over the years – he had kept everything. How freaking adorable is that?! He appeared in the living room & got down on one knee & popped the question. & Of course Alyssa said yes!
