I’ve known Alysha my entire life! We grew up in your typical 90s neighbourhood where our sisters would have sleepovers, have easter egg hunts & movie parties in our backyard with all our parents sitting around a fire… & I’m talking our ENTIRE neighbourhood would be outside 24/7 hanging out. We had the best childhood & I smile just thinking about how awesome it was back in those days. & Thanks to Facebook, we’ve all managed to keep in touch!

Kris + Alysha have been together for 7 years. They met through mutual friends & their first time hanging out didn’t quite go as planned… but thats how every great love story begins, right?? 😉 What was suppose to be a double date… ended with them at the hospital while Alysha’s friend had their niece Hailey! Ha!

The day Kris decided to propose was just another Saturday. He told Alysha they were heading out on a date to a fancy restaurant & already she had her suspicions. She told me “We’re just not fancy restaurant kind of people!” Hahaha! After their fancy feast at the fancy restaurant, they decided to take a walk down by Princes Island Park…. which is quite the romantic stroll if you’ve ever been to Calgary. They walked around & talked for a good 30 minutes when they came to this bridge… Alysha was looking at the water when she turned around & there was Kris down on one knee. Eeep! Love!

I think I speak for all of us when I say we’ve been waiting for this day to come. & I can’t wait to capture your love story & have a big Taradale reunion once again! It’s been awesome getting to know you both as a couple & watch your family grow over the years, witnessing the love you all share.
