You’ve definitely seen this adorable family in front of my lens before. I first met Chris, Kat & Will last year during my second set of Fall/Winter Mini Sessions… where we ended up getting snowed out! Fast forward to a year later where they are expecting their second baby & Will is now almost 2! Chris emailed me to book a session for Kat for her birthday & I was so excited to hear from them!

I have a lot more in common with Kat than I originally thought, because we had our babies on the exact same day at the exact same hospital. Can you believe that? Cause we sure can’t hahaha! We could have been in the same room or in the room next to each other for all we know. Both Will & Emma were born on January 28th at Rockyview Hospital in Calgary… & who knew 1 year later we would meet.

With the weather becoming colder & Kat very pregnant, we hoped to shoot indoors to be comfortable. But of course, shooting indoors you are very limited. With the help of my friends, I ended up tracking down a great location & we were able to do the session while I was in Calgary visiting my family.
