If you’re a creative entrepreneur who loves styling, baking, photographing and even eating all things pretty – this workshop is for you! The Open Trunk Workshop series was created by my friend Heather over at Orange Trunk, as a day to bask in this amazing industry and all it has to offer. There are guest speakers, great food, and one incredible styled shoot so you can have the opportunity to go hands on into details, planning and of course shooting! This workshop covers all aspects of what it takes to put on a styled shoot, no matter what your forte is! And to top it off they even get the Wedding industry pros to talk to you about how you can better your business… say what?

This experience comes highly recommended and it’s your chance to get an inside look at what this industry is all about. You’ll leave with your questions answered, great relationships with your fellow creatives and wedding vendors… and you’ll leave feeling totally inspired.

This was the second workshop held by Heather and it was a picnic boho dream come true. We setup a family styled picnic under the trees with twinkling lights and really enjoyed each others company talking about all things we love! I had the absolute honour of speaking at this event, talking all about how to prepare for an outdoor shoot.. because we all know I’ve had my fair share of crappy weather during my styled sessions! It was fun to share my tips and have an intimate discussion with each attendee!

As someone in the event industry, you can sometimes feel very alone… this workshop encourages you to step out of that comfort zone and push your creative buttons to take your businesses to the next level.. and meet all the amazing people the city of Calgary has to offer!
