Jared + Riane are the epitome of adorable! & Yes, they are just as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside. Any photographer would be SO lucky to photograph their wedding, & I’m honoured that photographer was me! I headed down to Camrose early July 15, jumping up & down in excitement to photograph this gorgeous pair on their special day.

I arrived at the family home just outside of town & her father came to greet me at my car & carried my bag up to the house. Ahh these families… so wonderful. I can’t get enough of the Borgfjord’s & Upham’s & how great they all are. They have a heart of gold & made me feel right at home.

Riane was still at the salon when I arrived so I couldn’t wait to see her! She walked in with hair looking absolutely incredible all curled & pinned up, & her makeup very natural & sweet. We hungout upstairs in her parents bedroom as Riane helped her sisters get dressed. They were casually peaking out the window to see who was arriving,  giggling & trying to recognize everyone coming in haha! Riane slipped into her dress & strapped on the gorgeous watch that Jared proposed with & she was ready to go!

We gathered in the Borgfjord’s front yard as the bride & groom said their vows & exchanged rings. These two could not keep their eyes off each other & it was so beautiful to capture. After the first kiss & a fun walk out, Jared & Riane exchanged hugs with each guest. Then we finished up family photo’s in the yard, using the beautiful ceremony backdrop. Since the farm was so gorgeous & photogenic, we stuck around & did bridal portraits as well! I couldn’t stop photographing these people!! I literally had to force myself to stop…..

We arrived at the Reception to a fully decorated room at the Norsemen Inn. With teal & peach complimenting each other & the rustic country feel to go with it… which Riane did a phenomenal job tying things together. She has a style of her own & she was a very DIY bride, which you could see within all the little details. The couple arrived & dinner was served with speeches soon to follow. The highlight was Riane’s sister Krista, who read a poem she had wrote, making the room roar in laughter. One thing that was super cool was the fact that her Mum & sister made a delicious Trifle, which they cut & fed each other in HUGE spoon fulls hahaha!

Thank you both for such a great day! I’ve said it before & I’ll say it again you two are amazing to photograph & I always feel so comfortable with you. A couple who loves pictures as much as I do & is up for anything is a dream! & I hope we can cross paths again one day! Please keep in touch while you’re living as Husband & Wife down East!
