I met Aaron and Andrea at a Wedding I shot last year, and I was so excited to hear from them again, booking their own Wedding! Having a couple as wonderful as these two to add to my 2018 Wedding season, I couldn’t be more excited! We headed out to my favourite place, as everyone knows, Moraine lake to capture their engagement photos. This being their first time, we headed up the rock pile as soon as we arrived and they were absolutely stunned by the beauty… as we all are! I shot these two basically until the sun went down… or until the downpour of rain came! And I probably would have kept going until they stopped me. When you have a couple who are incredibly photogenic, it’s amazing… but having a couple who you really connect with… it’s so rewarding.
Aaron and Andrea met in the Summer of 2007 where they were both working at a Restaurant. Andrea said the second she saw Aaron she knew right away he was the one. Talk about love at first sight <3 And how sweet is it that they’ll be celebrating 10 years together the same year they get married.
Aaron and Andrea took a trip to Banff with some friends indulging in some birthday celebrations. They arrived from Edmonton on April 1st and Aaron suggested they head out on a hike up Tunnel Mountain. Andrea’s suspicions slowly creeped in as Aaron isn’t one to suggest climbing a mountain haha so she had a small feeling something was up. As they reached the top, their friends asked if they wanted a couple photos, thats when Aaron dropped to one knee and said” Andrea, it’s time” followed by the sweetest words that brought her to tears. The crowd of people surrounding them broke out into cheers and claps while they snuck off somewhere quiet and popped some champagne! Andrea notes that it was above 20 degrees and it felt like Summer had come early… d’awww! They climbed down and shared the wonderful news with all their loved ones, then celebrated all night with their friends.
Aaron and Andrea plan to wed in the mountains next spring, where they want their guests to relax and just have fun celebrating with them! Andrea plans to have a colour palette of blush and navy blue, while keeping things rustic and romantic. I absolutely can’t wait to see everything unfold, and to spend the day with you guys!
