Can you say pêches et crème?
When putting together my first fine art editorial back in the Spring, I wanted a very simple and clean aesthetic. Pairing soft details with the light and airy classic church draws you into a world of Whimsical Romance.
We shot inside the incredible Acreage Weddings Church during a rainy Sunday afternoon, and soaked up all that overcast through the windows, providing calm lighting and giving us dream-like portraiture.
Ania, our stylist who had just come back from a trip to prague a few days prior, came home and got straight to work, hand selecting each table element right down to the blue goblets! Which were the perfect pop of colour complimenting those gorgeous orange poppy’s in the centrepieces from Fall for Florals. Lindsey designed and added soft tones in her arrangements, which highlighted spring perfectly! We brought out some texture in the hand written menus and name tags and I fell in love with the hand drawn French Chateau form Debbie Wong Design. Our model Cianna looked stunning in Savin London’s Olya gown provided by Blush and Raven, and while focusing on Cianna’s natural beauty, Monika from Glam and Beyond kept makeup minimal and light. We finished off Cianna’s look with a delicate half up/half down twist knot by Kirsten from M.Co Hairstyling who I’m so grateful travelled all the way down from Red Deer.
All came together beautifully, and I thank you all so much for running with me on this project and letting me capture something for my heart, that was so needed.
