I met Amber last year when I held my Winter Mini Sessions in Calgary & we instantly connected! Amber & her boyfriend Austin are the cutest & most genuine couple ever! I love that this job brings me into the lives of wonderful people such as these two & taking their pictures is really just a bonus.  I could easily see myself hanging with them outside of taking photographs & I was pretty excited when I pulled her name out!

I was vacationing in Banff with my family one weekend in April, as you saw in THIS blog post! & I just couldn’t spend a weekend in Banff without photographing someone! So I decided to hold a giveaway for all my incredible followers, offering a free session 🙂 The day leading up to the session was a little discouraging… the weather was so on & off & unfortunately I told Amber & her family to stay put as the weather was taking a turn. A BLIZZARD turn. So we had to reschedule for another day that best suited all of us & it just so happened that July 26th was the day!

Amber + Austin, thank you for your continued encouragement & support. Your words uplift me in ways that keep pushing me forward & I love everything about our sessions together. Thank you for travelling where I had my heart set on & for leaving me so incredibly grateful afterwards. I’m already dreaming about your wedding (hehe!) & I look forward to seeing a lot more of each other in the future 😉
