If you follow my Facebook page, you’ll know I just recently went on a weekend getaway with my entire family! My Mum’s birthday is March 27 & My Nanna’s birthday is March 28, so every year it’s a combined celebration! This year was extra special, because my Nanna was celebrating the big 7-0! My parents asked my Nanna what she wanted to do for her birthday & her reply was that she would love to go to Banff & spend the night. So my entire family & I packed up & headed to the mountains for the weekend.

We stayed at the Hidden Ridge Resort overlooking Banff Avenue & it was so awesome having my entire family there celebrating! We have never all been on “vacation” together so it was a real treat being able to spend all this time together at our favourite place. We got to stay in this amazing 4 level condo, complete with a kitchen & 5 Beds! Matt & I had the kids with us so we were pretty limited to the fun activities we could do with the snow falling outside, but that didn’t stop us from enjoying an hour in the hot pools overlooking the mountains our last night there.

It was so what we all needed & as always I never took nearly enough photographs!

If you are ever in Banff & needing a place to stay, Hidden Ridge Resort is definitely recommended! & It was very child-friendly 🙂
