Red Deer Engagement Photographer :: Dylan + Jordan
Jordan & my boyfriend Matt graduated High School together in Castor, AB… so thats how Jordan & I crossed paths here in Stettler! She’s not just a client, she’s a good friend, & I’m so excited to capture her & Dylan’s ‘I do’s’ next May! We’re quite the pinterest fanatics, & Jordan & her bridesmaids have been pinning inspirations of their wedding in a secret group that I’m lucky enough to be a part of. I almost feel like I’m part of the planning process… which I love! These girls have great taste 😉 & how lucky is Jordan to have all her bridesmaids so involved.
Jordan & Dylan met by total accident. They were both driving around with their friends when both cars stopped side by side. There was a moment between them & then both cars took off. Being in a small town it’s not hard to figure out who’s who & how to get in touch… because later that night Jordan received a message from an unknown number & it was Dylan, asking them to dinner…& here we are 7 years later!
Dylan, knowing the joy that Halloween brings Jordan… decided to propose on her favourite holiday. It was their first Halloween together in their new home & Jordan was busy handing out candy. Dylan made up an excuse about heading to his parents house to grab a Birthday card for Jordan & was gone maybe 30 minutes. The doorbell rang & Jordan casually walks over to hand out candy.. when she opens the door with their pup in one hand & candy in the other to see Dylan on one knee with a ring in his hand “Trick or Treat, Will you marry me?”
AHHHHHDORRRRABLE, right?!!
These two care so much about each other & focus on making each other happy by doing things they know the other will love… like Dylan proposing on Halloween… & Jordan getting some engagement pictures at the rink for her Hockey playing hubby. Two selfless & genuine people who deserve eachother. Ahhh I love a good love story.
Thank you both so much for choosing me to photograph the most important day of your life. You were both game for anything during your engagement session & we seriously shot for hours! I enjoyed your company immensely & I loved getting to know you both as a couple. May can’t come soon enough!!
