My good friend Melissa brought Nina into my life & I’m SO happy to have connected with her & her fiancé Kevin! I received a message from Nina inquiring about her Wedding & I drove to Red Deer to meet them the first chance I could! We decided to head to Heritage Ranch to do their engagement photo’s, & they came fully prepared & ready to rock them. They’re a super fun & outgoing couple, & we definitely wanted these images to show their good sense of humour. Plus the whole family came for a couple shots too!

Kevin & Nina met in 2010 where their friends set them up on a little bit of a blind date. They attended a friends birthday & were introduced, but since they were both moving around a lot, they actually didn’t start dating until 2 years later.

Kevin popped the question in their kitchen while Nina was making dinner. Kevin played it cool & took her on some dates for a week while he had the ring in his pocket for 2 whole days! DANG Kevin! You sly guy. He couldn’t decide when & where would be the right time, until this particular moment in the kitchen seemed to be it. No fancy night out or big expensive dinner, just the two of them in the rawest of forms, embraced & in the moment. I love it! They’ll be tying the knot this Summer at their Family Church in Red Deer, & I can’t wait to see what their day brings!
