I made my way to Camrose on one of the first few beautiful days we’ve seen this Spring… to photograph a couple I was meeting for the first time. It honestly felt like I had known them for years though! Immediately Jared was making jokes & with a similar sense of humour, I had the vibe that it was going to be a fun afternoon with these two. We met at Starbucks then ventured to the Camrose Ski Hill to document the beginning of their Wedding journey.

Riane is a small town girl from Camrose & Jared is an adventure seeking beach lover from New Brunswick. So, how in the world did these two meet living on different sides of the country? It’s a pretty common thing these days.. But Jared being just that adventure seeking type, moved up West for something different. Something new… & boy did he get it haha! They met through mutual friends & knew each other for a year before they started dating. Fast forward 3 years later & here we are 🙂

Jared & Riane went cross country skiing together the day after Valentines Day in Grande Praire, where Jared had a little more in mind besides skiing. He asked her to Marry him on top of the ski hill & they wasted no time getting things done! Their Wedding will be in Camrose this Summer with a Modern Rustic feel & then the Newlyweds will be heading back East to enjoy married life!
