If you told me back in Junior High where I met Damara in the 7th grade that I would be documenting her journey to motherhood 14 years later… I would have said you were crazy! However, as crazy as that perspective is for me, it actually happened. & I’m so thankful to have kept in touch & that this job is so rewarding to me, on so many levels.

Damara’s peace & humbling strength showcase that this lady was born to be a mother. Damara had what you could definitely call a very dramatic birth. After all she’s been through, that smile is both infectious & inspiring. Thank you Damara + Nigel for giving me the privilege of photographing you both not once but twice! & For letting me snuggle that adorable little man of yours! Gah he’s just gorgeous!
