Kassia emailed me back in January & I jumped for joy at booking my FIRST big wedding up North. We exchanged countless emails expressing our excitement & I could not wait to meet this woman! We had a lot in common with our youngest kids being so close in age & I found myself writing novels to her, like we’re great friends even though we’ve never met before.

Kassia is a bride who knows exactly what she wants & even has an eye for this whole photography thing. Once we set a date for their engagement session, she told me she had a location in mind & I never got to see it until the day of… & let me tell you… my mouth dropped. Give me a red barn ANY day folks! Oh but a red barn behind a gorgeous spray pond fully equipped with a gazebo on the dock? AHH! Love! I couldn’t help but notice a HUGE storm coming our way & the rain starting to pour, but none of us even blinked for a second. This session was so much fun!

Travis + Kassia are head-over-heels-crazy-about-eachother. & This little cowboy of theirs is the light of their lives. I love when my couples include their children in their session! & Lucas stole the show. Seriously, how freaking cute is he?! & That belt buckle….. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I can’t.
