Mike & Jade live on a beautiful farm just outside of Stettler, which was the perfect setting for their engagement session. Being a girl from Calgary, I was in heaven with all their animals & even getting my hands on a teeny tiny kitten! They showed me around their land & of course we were blessed with an incredible sunset to make the cherry on top of this perfect night, super sweet!

They first met in Red Deer, where Jade was on the search for a roommate in her Condo. Mike was looking for a place to stay for a couple months while he finished up his last year of Carpentry, so that put him in touch with Jade. After living together for awhile, they went their separate ways living with their friends. They kept in touch & 2 years later they got together for dinner & have been together ever since!

Mike proposed in November on Friday the 13th! Jade came home from work, just like any other day & found herself in their bedroom sitting on the edge of the bed. Mike walked in & knelt to the ground to put his arms around her, asking her questions like what she’d like to do that night or what she’d like for dinner. Suddenly he went digging in his pocket while asking all these questions & the next question he asked was “Will you Marry Me”. Jade cried immediately “Are you serious?!” followed by a definite YES!

These two lovebirds will marry this November in a beautiful, relaxed country rustic Wedding with all the wintery wonderland feels… & I can’t freaking wait!
