Calgary Photographer :: Fall Mini Sessions
I offer Fall Mini Sessions once or twice a year, depending on how many requests I get… & this year was packed full in Calgary! I had requests for Fall Mini’s all year long & even had to make a waiting list! So I decided to open 16 spots in 2 days with 8 sessions on each day!
If you’re wondering what a Mini Session is, it’s just that: An abbreviated session. With a limited time frame & a cut down on price & images.. you basically get in, get what you want & get out. As I was looking at my 16 sessions, I began to panic. I had 7 sessions to edit on top of the 16 I was about to do & already I realized I took on way too much! But when you love something so much, you just wanna do it & do it as often as you can. & Thats what I did 🙂
For all my other past Mini Sessions, I would bring props like a chest & some blankets to give images some texture.. so this year I kind of wanted to do something different. My talented friend Heather over at Orange Trunk was just the lady I needed to bring what I had in mind to a reality. She has a plethora of vintage decor & seating… & I had one item in particular I was DYING to photograph: Isabelle
The gorgeous blue velvet against the pleasing green & yellow trees was enough to make me fall in love with this undying urge to be creative & style every shoot I do. This Fall Mini Dream was coming true & I could not wait to get started! Every year I have a tradition of holding all my Fall Mini’s on thanksgiving weekend because well, the weather is always perfect! & This year was no different.
All 16 families/couples came to hangout & I can’t thank each & every single one of you enough for spending the weekend with me! I had so much fun creating these images, seeing some past clients & a few new ones! I cherish each session just as much as the next & I’m so thankful to be able to make so many families happy.
